Still Waters, Drawn Swords begins at the still waters that calm our anxieties and fears. From the rest provided by the waters, we rise and clothe ourselves in the armor of God. Preparation is sacred. The poems intensify as the battle unfolds, true spiritual warfare, not simply a metaphor for our struggles. It is in this section that I bring my passion for blending genres by creating poems that incorporate aspects of fantasy and science fiction through field logs and poems with military language.
Still Waters, Drawn Swords is both a reflection and a call to readiness. It invites readers to confront fear, strengthen faith, and step boldly into the battle.
